<br /> <br />Banks and Gesso, LLC <br />As initial excavation approaches the mining limits, de-watering quantities will be quite <br />high. However, once the first areas along the perimeter are mined and reclamation <br />proceeds, the quantity of groundwater pumped should stabilize or begin to decrease. <br />The Applicant has obtained one share of water from the Last Chance Ditch Company, <br />which will deliver 383 acre-feet of water for use in augmentation. These rights will <br />account for losses in the aggregate processing operations. <br />Phasino Schedule for Mining and Reclamation Operations -Rule 6.4.4 (d). (e) <br />The mining and the start of reclamation operations anticipated by the Applicant, <br />dependant on market demand are summarized below: <br />The mining, plant operations, and reclamation activities for each phase are described in <br />the sections below. <br />Phase 1 <br />The Applicant will erect the initial aggregate processing plant, maintenance and office <br />facilities, and the scale office, as located on Exhibit C-3. This will involve stripping of <br />topsoil and overburden from the plant site area prior to erecting the processing <br />equipment. The aggregate plant will be erected on the site in late 2001 or early 2002. <br />Topsoil and overburden stripped from the plant area and within Area 1 mining limits will <br />be stockpiled for later use in reclamation. <br />Initial mining will begin in Area 1 and will create the ponds for use as process water and <br />fresh water ponds. Materials will be stockpiled for later processing.
