Pursuant to Section 24-4-105(2), C.R.S., of the Administrative Procedures Act, and Rule
1.4.2(4) of the Hard Rock/Metal Mining Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land
Reclamation Board, a Formal Public Hearing will be held during the February 23-24, 2000
meeting of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for consideration of the request for
administrative appeal. The hearing will be held in Room 318 of 1313 Sherman Street,
Denver, Colorado, beginning at 9:00 a.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be
considered. You will have the opportunity to be represented and heard.
A Pre-hearing Conference is scheduled to occur by phone conference, on February 11,
2000, at 1:30 p.m. The purpose of the Pre-hearing Conference is to identify the parties,
witnesses and issues to be discussed at the Board hearing, and to prepare an outline of the
agenda for the Board hearing. Please be present at the phone number listed on the
attached mailing list at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, February 11, 2000, to participate in the Pre-
hearing Conference.
At approximately 1:30 p.m., February 11, 2000, the individuals listed on the
attached list will be contacted by an MCI operator. The operator will invite you to
participate in the phone conference. If the operator fails to contact you at 1:30
p.m., or shortly thereafter, you may join the phone conference by dialing 800-779-
5739 (toll free) and give the operator your name. For security reasons the operator
may ask for the passcode, "ERICKSON", and the leader's name, "Wally Erickson".
