(a) The anticipated effect the proposed work will have on the <br />surface resources of the land and subsurface waters draining <br />from the operation will be minimal affect on subsurface <br />(brieFly describe) <br />waters. 1/2 acre of surface resources will be used for <br />mortal and temporary storage. <br />(b) All timber cut from right-of-way or work sites not required in <br />.the operation will be disposed of by the Forest .Service by sale. <br />In the event sale and removal cannot be made within the required <br />schedule of the operator, the operator will cut_and deck the <br />timber at locations prescribed by the District Ranger. <br />app rosimate ly <br />The volume of timber required in the operation is 4,000 board <br />feet. Said timber will be used for prospecting, exploration, <br />development mining or processing operations and uses reasonably <br />incident [hereto, or for the construction of buildings or <br />structures in connection therewith. Any severance and removal <br />shall be in accordance with sound principles of forest management <br />as specified by the District Ranger. <br />10.
