• EXHIBIT E (Cont'd)
This open pit operation has no drill holes or auger holes
' remaining. It has no addits or shafts.
There are to be no earth dams.
No toxic or acid-forming material will be encountered or used
in the operation.
All refuse will be disposed of by hauling it away or by burying
it in the backfill areas so that unsightliness and deleterious
a
effects will be controlled.
The land will be revegetated in such a way as to establish a
diverse, effective, and long-lasting vegetative cover capable of
self-regeneration and at least equal in extent of cover to the
' natural vegetation of the surrounding area. Refer to the revegeta-
tion program later in this Exhibit E for details.
Overburden and soil removal and storage are discussed in
Exhibit D. The non-soil overburden stored for each stage of mining
will be returned to the mined area when the reclamation phase starts.
' It will be used as backfill and slope fill material. Soils will be
used to cover areas to be revegetated to the depths previously
discussed.
This is a dry, open-pit operation. For existing water condi-
tions please refer to Exhibit G.
' Area outside of the affected land will not be affected in any
foreseeable way by slides, runoff or other functions of the mining
'a or reclamation operation.
' All land area of the affected land will be stabilized through
revegetation and grading so as to control erosion and attendant air
' and water pollution.
' 15 (Revised)
