MINED LAND WILDLIFE STATEMENT/EVALUATION <br />(Revised) <br />for limited impact and select regular mine applications <br />The following information pertaining to wildlife is provided for use by <br />Mined Land Reclamation Board in their consideration of a mining permit <br />for: <br />T21S.R63W. W3/2 sec19. NW3/4 sec30. SEl/4 sec18 <br />Name/Type and Location of Mine (Legal) <br />Wildlife Species List: <br />Typical Upland Species <br />Various Passerine Birds <br />Homed lark <br />Western Rattle Snake <br />Endangered/Critical Species/Impacted: <br />Swift Fox have been observed in vicinity <br />Critical Habitats/Vegetative Communities Impacted: <br />No riparian <br />' Area contains shortgrass prairie. <br />Recommended that all activities associated with mining reclaim areas to shortgrass prairie <br />habitat. <br />Assessment of Impact: <br />Disturbance to this habitat is likely from the proposed actions. No known species present <br />of special status. Although impact to shortgrass habitat is likely, overall impact to wildlife <br />species is minimal. <br />Mine Reclamation Recommendations (include key species/habitats for which <br />restoration is designed): <br />The Division of Wildlife should be consulted before reclamation activies occur to insure <br />benefits to wildlife.
