~,R'~
' ~_a.
,..
Page Two - ~•1r. Liddle
June 13, 1983
consideration along t~~ith water quality after mining ceases. All
projections should be done on a "worst case" basis. Data on the
amount and quality of ground water contribution to the surface
water system will be gathered,
Surface water hydrology and alluvial valley floor data will be
gathered on Fish, Middle and Foidel Creeks with some consider-
ation given to the need for similar data on lower trout Creek.
No surface facilities, roads, railroads and/or waste disposal areas
are planned for areas with the potential to be alluvial valley
floors.
Assessments of the direct effects of potential; min: discharges
and the indirect effects of possible subsidence on the surface
water system will be made.
While there was much general discussion of the proposed programs
as well as ongoing research in the Fish Creek area, we feel that these
points comprise the highlights of the meeting. As you are aware, it
is our intent to design and execute all of our efforts within the
regulations and making maximum use of available guidelines.
Once again thank you for your time and consideration. We are looking
forward to working with MLRD as this project moves fo*ward.
Sincerely,
/._.
~r~~~~~
RNM:ds R. N.
