Based upon the track
alignment it is estimated that appmY~~tely 500 CYO will be excavated during the
cut and fill process. when the railroad track is reclaimed this material will
be returned to back fill the cut area. During the period of usage the cut aryl
fill slopes will be seeded with the Pastiseland seed mixture to stabilize the
slopes as needed. Zhe fill material will be oonq~acted per the rern,i,-P,,,Pnts of
the D&RG1w1.
• After the cut and fill work has been coeq~leted, approximately 200 CY of pit run
gravel will be hauled in and used for the bed material. The tie and rails will
be laid and approximately 200 CY of ballast will be placed around the ties. A
deadman or berm may be constructed at the errl of the extension.
The railroad track has been transferred to Twentymile dal Company, and TCC will
be responsible for reclaiming the railroad after it is no longer rerniired for its
operation. Likewise, the railroad track has been removed from Permit Renewal
Maps 4 and 5.
sedimentation Fords
'Ihe existing sedimentation ponds at the F]ieigy Mines No. 1 and 2 are shown on
Permit Renewal Maps 9A & 10A.

TR 91-30 780-38 (c) Revised 02/11/91
