The pit is located one mile
north of Owl Canyon Road east of the east I-25 frontage road.
Find attached a copy of her December 14, 1994, letter describing
the historic, current, and future use of that property. As she
has described to me, there is an existing access to the property.
Since no increase of traffic is proposed to the site, the
Department of Transportation has no warrant to re-evaluate access
and therefore has no objection to the continued use as described.
If in the future there is an increase of traffic by more than
twenty percent, or a change in the type of traffic which visits
the property, the Department has a warrant to re-evaluate access
and may require changes of overall access to the property.
At this time, the Department has no issue with the access
which exists to the Doyle Gravel Pit site.
If you have questions or need for further explanation, you
may contact me at (303)350-2163.
Sincerely,
~~-C
Ter a G.
