RECLAMATION COST ESTIMATE
The following Reclamation Cost estimate is based on the
assumption that there will be no more than 9.10 acres t distur-
bance at any one time. The mine working face will be 400 feet
long and that when it comes time to recoil the area, an average
of 10 inches of soil would be spread. over the disturbed area. At
that time we will have to respread 12,235 cubic yards of topsoil
and move 7,408 cy of cutMill sloping. No sloping will be
necessary on the exterior slopes as they will be done as mining
progresses. The table below outlines the various areas of dis-
turbance at the time explained above. The areas needing work in
this analysis are shown on the Bond Map -Figure D-1 . A D8N is used
to do the shaping and recoiling in this calculation and the
mobilization haul distance is 40 miles. The revegetation cost
figure used includes fertilizer, grass seed, labor and drilling
costs.
