~, <br /> <br />EXHIBIT G -WATER INFORMATION <br />(a) Locate on the map (Exhibit C) tributary water courses, wells, springs, stock water ponds, <br />reservoirs and ditches <br />This operation is expected to directly affect surface water systems. Please see Exhibit C for <br />location of the: <br />South Platte River <br />Thompson and Platte Ditch <br />(b) Identify all known aquifers <br />The South Platte River alluvial aquifer is under this property. Refer to Exhibit G-1 for a list of <br />adjacent wells and well owners within 600'. The Existing Conditions Map shows the locations <br />of these wells. <br />(c) Show how water from dewatering operations or runoff from distzrbed areas, piled material and <br />operating surfaces will be managed to protect against pollzetion of either surface or groundwater <br />both dzzring and after the operation <br />Water from the initial dewatering operation and runoff from disturbed azeas, piled material and <br />operating surfaces will be likely be diverted to the wash pond for detention and cleansing. The <br />resulting outfall will flow into the South Platte River pursuant to a Colorado Department of <br />Public Health and Environment dschazge (CDPS) permit. <br />(d) Estimate project water requirements including flow rates and annual vol:tmes four the <br />developmerst, mining and reclamation phases of the project. It is anticipated <br />that Big Thompson and South Platte Ditch water will be used to supply reclamation <br />requirements.
