couoo.an..or, <br />We11 GF-3 <br />Well GF-3 was drilled to 284 feet. Bentonite mud was <br />used as a drilling fluid. The well casing was installed and <br />cemented. A well service rig was used to bail the well after <br />completion. <br />We11 GF-3 was completed within and just above the "I" <br />coal seam. The test interval consists of the coal and inter- <br />bedded sands and shales. Figure 3-4 indicates the test inter- <br />val. Well GF-3 flowed at a very low rate after completion. <br />3.3.2 Well Site GBB <br />Well GBB-1 <br />~ Drill cuttings from Well GBB-1 indicated that the Yampa <br />River alluvium was 10 to 12 feet thick. Shales and coal from <br />the Upper [Williams Fork Formation Caere encountered beloca a depth <br />of 10 to 12 feet. Dri11 cuttings from tite Upper Williams Fork <br />Formation indicated beds of shale, siltstone, sandstone, and coal <br />six-inches to ten feet thick. The well was drilled to 160 feet. <br />Geophysical logs were obtained (Figure 3-5). Well casing was <br />installed and cemented. The well was bailed. <br />We11 GBB-1 was completed in a ten-foot thick, poorly <br />consolidated, well-sorted, fine sandstone. Figure 3-S indicates <br />the test interval for We11 GBB-1. [Jell GBB-1 flowed at a very <br />low rate after completion. <br />We11 GBB-2 <br />We11 GBB-2 was drilled to 68 feet, completed, and <br />'~ bailed.
