Those parts of the south 1/2 of the NW 1/4'and SW 1/4) Section <br /> 35, Township 6 South, Range 69 West, Douglas County, lying <br /> south of the county line road, running thru said lands in an <br /> easterly and westerly direction and: <br /> Parcel 2. NW 1/4 of Section 2, Township 7 South, Range 69 West, 6th P.M. , <br /> Douglas County, Colorado. <br /> From 1911 to 1943 the minerals in parcels 1 and 2 were leased by the Colfax <br /> Pressed Brick Company (Robinson Brick $ Tile's previous name) for the purpose <br /> of mining limestone, sandstone, silica sand and clay. On November 22, 1943, <br /> The Robinson Brick $ Tile Company signed a clay mining lease for parcel 1 with <br /> Fred A. Slocum, Emmett B. Slocum, and Welding D. Slocum. On September 10, 1951, <br /> the lease was extended and amended into a perpetual lease by an agreement with <br /> the land owners. The lease was further amended by a second amended agreement <br /> dated June 21, 1954. The second amendment, among other things, includes parcel <br /> 2 in the lands covered by the amended lease. On August 8, 1960, this lease was <br /> amended for a third and final time. <br /> On April 23, 1970, The!'Robinson Brick $ Tile Company released the following <br /> described lands from the clay lease: <br /> Those lands lying East of the following described line: Commencing at the <br /> West 1/4 corner of Section 35, Township 6 South, Range 69 West of the 6th P.M. , <br /> Douglas County, Colorado; thence Easterly along the North line of the Southwest <br /> 1/4 of said Section 35 a distance of 672.19 feet; thence Northwesterly on an <br /> angle to the left-of 109°53100" a distance of 408.75 feet to the Southerly <br /> 5 <br />
