Mr. David Berry, CMLRD
_ March 19, 1990 - page 2
e tion 4.0 is the Recontoured Spoil Samp 'ng section. This section includes
~hEe specific spoil analysis data and a ap showing spoil texture and sample
identification numbers. Trapper pro es to eliminate spoil sampling in all
pits, except Ashmore, as spoil quality has proven, over time, to be very good
in these areas. Ashmore pit spoil sampling and analysis will continue to be
monitored and will be re-evaluated in the future for sampling continuation.
Section S.O sJ~ows actual topsoil stockpiles constructed in 1989 and proposed
1990 topsoil stockpile locations. This section titled Topsoil Stockpile Loca-
tions, con sts of a map and brief narrative.
Section 6.0 t' led Livestock Ponds is a map which shows the actual locations
of ponds c s rutted in 1969 and the proposed locations for ponds which may be
constructe n 1990.
Section 7.0 is our Proposed Revegetation Seed Mixes for 1990. Several native
plant spec' s showing low germination and survivability have been deleted from
various s ed mixes. Additionally, native species performing very well in
establis d plant material trials have been incorporated into various seed
mixes. f there are problems with the 1990 seed mixes, we must make changes
very so n in order to secure alternate species or additional quantities. Also
included are revised tables 3.6-7 through 3.6-9, updating Trapper's list of
• _preferred plant species for var' us range sites.
Section 8.0 is a report o ildlife Monitoring and discusses the results of
our brush manipulation ushing" study for wildlife mitigation purposes as
outlined in our mining and reclamation permit section 4.6 page 4-155. As
agreed (cor'espondenc to T. Waldron, CMLRD, 12/8/89) an evaluation of sam-
pling resul s will b provided in our annual report rather than a report sub-
mitted in a late all of 1989. Trapper proposes to discontinue brush crush-
ing as well as al other big game monitoring programs. Permit pages 4-154 and
4-155 are da d to reflect this change. Submitted is a accumulation of
eight years o wildlife (deer ~ elk) monitoring data.
Section 9.0 is titled Miscellaneous
update our permit application, as wel
associated with our advancing pits.
permit sections (3.6'.2.6 and 4.9.2),
more accurately reflect Trapper's cu r
J Subsection 2 is a map sho
Ashmore pit.
