Area B is the temporarily reclaimed outslope and slopes <br />to the north. Area C is a graded spoil area that slopes to the south toward <br />tl~e active pit. Sediment eroded from this area will be permanently trapped <br />and will not enter either the active pit or area A. Likewise, sediment <br />from the ungraded spoils will not enter area A and only the spoil pile <br />immediately adjacent to the active pit will produce sediment into the pit. <br />This sediment contribution is accounted for in Che calculation of sediment <br />from area E, [he active pit area. The sediment production <br />
