Dept. of Natural Resoerces Re: Miller Open Pit Gravel Mine Dear Mr. Janes: Enclosed are applications for an open gravel pit mining operation filed on behalf of Robert D. and Beverly R. Miller. Also enclosed is Mr. Miller's check in the sum of $810.00 in payment of the required processing fees. As you will recall, we reviewed the enclosures and I have added and inserted the required Mining Plan, which when taken into consideration with the mining program, sets forth the total mining operation. The Mined Land Wildlife Questionaire has been forwarded to Mr. Don Bogart of the Colorado Division of Wildlife and will apparently be completed by him and forwarded to the Board. A copy of the first page of the questionaire has been included in the packet submitted to the Board. The Division of Wildlife in Denver pre- viously directed that this form not be forwarded to Mr. Bogart until the application had been filed, and he, in turn, would sub- mit it to the Reclamation Board. Please notify me if any additional documents need to be submitted in support of the application. As you requested, the Order authorizing the pit and approval of the Board of County Commis- sioners of Elbert County are also enclosed and attached in this packet.
