<br />R--99 lochee, sandstone.
<br />The A horizon is 9 to 6 inches khlek. The A end B hori-
<br />zons are ea much as 10 percent small fragments of eand-
<br />etone and the Cca le ae much ae 20 percent tragmente. The
<br />B2k ~orizon Is clay, clay loam, ar silty stay loam. The
<br />depth to the Cea horizon ranges from 16 to 26 lochee, and
<br />the depth to sandstone ranges from 20 to 40 lochee.
<br />Wo-Wormaer silt loam. This soil ie in tits western
<br />part of the survey area. The elope !s 1 to 4 percent.
<br />The areas are irregularly shaped and cover as much
<br />as 600 acres. Small, barren slickspots scattered through-
<br />out the area make up about 16 percent of the acreage.
<br />Included with this soil in mapping are areas o[
<br />Nunn eoils, which make up about 16 percent of the
<br />acreage, and areas of Stroupe soils, which make up
<br />about 6 percent.
<br />Runoff is medium, and the hazard of erosion la
<br />moderate.
<br />This soil is suited to grazing. It has potential for
<br />wildlife use if the habitat can be improved. The native
<br />vegetation is mainly western wheatgrass, blue grams,
<br />alkali eacaton, and cactus. Capability unit VIe-4, non-
<br />irrlgated; Clayey Foothills range site.
