The area was proposed for mining buts <br />never mined. ,~_ ~el~~c,~^ <br />Z Request the file for 77-150, Platteville be closed and the bond be returned. <br />The mining has been completed and the area reclaimed and returned to beneficial <br />use by the owner (see attached letter). <br />3 Attached are four copies of the permit application for 77-151, Greeley which <br />contains information previously requested by your staff. The additional feg. <br />($340) is also enclosed to cover the acreage not covered in the previous syD- <br />S Also attached are four copies of the permit application for 77-534, Empire Pit <br />which contains the information previously requested by your staff. <br />y, Your files also contain a visit report on a pit previously operated by Mountain <br />Aggregate, south of County Highway 68, along the I-25 frontage roads which may' <br />be referred to as the Timnath Pit. This pit has been reclaimed. In addition <br />it is not the responsibility of Ramsour Brothers, Inc, since it has not been <br />mined since Mountain Aggregate became a part of Ramsour Brothers, Inc. organi- <br />zation:~- R~,1~~ S2 <br />The apparent late resolution of these permit applications has been caused by <br />many occurrences. The great number of changes in reclamation specialists on <br />these applications, and the lack of timely communication have hampered our sat- <br />isfactory response to staff action. In addition, the engineering company which <br />we previously used has become defunct causing delays in obtaining information <br />and old records. <br />We have retained Mr. Gilbert F, Rindahl to help us resolve all of our application <br />problems.
