it <br />r • • ~ 1 <br />-4+% <br />PROBABLE TONNAGE <br />Probable tonnage of bentonite ore is determined from <br />field measurements of the bentonite exposed in various open <br />cuts. It is as follows: <br />Pit No. Length Width Thickness <br />1, a,b.c. 200 30 20 ft. * 200,000 tone <br />2 10 5 10 " = 500 tons <br />3 70 10 5+" = 3500+ tone <br />other cuts (reported) = 10000 tons <br />TOTAL TONNAGE EXPOSID <br />It is likely that as much as l~.00,000 tons of bentonite <br />may be developed upon minor exploratory trenching. <br />POSSIBLE TONNAGE <br />Estimated extent of bentonite layer over the claim area <br />is presumed as follows: <br />Length -- 2,000 ft. ) <br />Width -- I}00 ft. ) 8,000,000 + tons. <br />Thickness- 10 ft. } <br />Based on these dimensions, the estimated tonnage of <br />crude bentonite ore which is possibly to be developed is <br />8,000,000 ~ tons. <br />Development work now planned will make possible tonnage <br />estimates easier to figure. <br />
