It is a deep, somewhat <br />poorly drained soil, that has moderate to rapid permeability and moderate to high <br />' available water capacity. The surface layer of grayish-brown sandy loam, ca+a extend to <br />' 40 inches. Underlying this is about 20 inches of coarse sandy loam. The se:~sonal high <br />water table is at two to four feet. Available water capacity is moderate. Roots can <br />~' extend to 60 inches in this soil. It is beat suited to water tolerant grasses such as tall <br />wheatgrass, tall fescue, or slender wheatgrass.
