i <br />~' <br />' EXHIBIT H <br />W ildlif e <br />~ The permit azea is almost totally devoid of wildlife resources. Most of the azea <br />',' has been heavily grazed, leaving little vegetation and cover for wildlife species. The <br />only possible pazt of the azea that some wildlife species may inhabit is along Coal Creek, <br />' where there are some bushes and trees. The only species actually sighted here was a <br />' Red-tailed Hawk. Other probable species aze the Cottontail Rabbit, the Deer Mouse, the <br />Mourning Dove and the Bull Snake. The Colorado Division of Wildlife has this azea listed <br />as a winter habitat for the Mule Deer. <br />No protected wildlife species aze known to inhabit the area. Although some birds <br />' and small mammals may be displaced by mining, there will be no significant effects on <br />the wildlife ecology of the azea. <br />i' Possible wildlife species at or near the site aze included in TABLE II. <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />
