ERO Resources <br />REDC?~EIC .SERIES <br />• <br />Taxonomic Classification: Loamy-mixed (calcareous), frigid family of <br />Lithic Ustorthents. <br />Satt;i>0: Redcreek soils are on ridgetops and sides lopes. They have <br />formed in residuum derived fray loamatone and thinly interbedded sarxistona <br />and shale. Slopes are 6 to 20 percent. <br />Gsnaral Characteristics: Redcreek soils are well-drained with moderately <br />rapid to rapid permeability and slow to medium runoff. Vegetation is <br />primarily big sagebrush, juniper and mixed perennial grasses and annual <br />plants, mainly cheatgrass. <br />B~~e in Characteristios: Textures era 1aam, sandy loam and silt loam <br />with 10 to 20 percent clay. COarsA fragment content is 0 to 20 percent <br />with accumulations of visible secondary calcium carbonate below about 5 to <br />8 inches. Reaction is moderately alkaline throughout. Depth to bedrock <br />is 10 to 20 inches. <br />Tvne Location: 250 feet east, 600 feet south of the northwest corrnar of <br />Section 22, T2N, R101W.
