<br />This sand end gre~el operation fs not expected to directly affect surface or <br />groundwater systems other then evaporation from the ponds. This water <br />will be replaced by augmentation of water from 1251nchesof water of <br />appropriation •25 running in the Canal of the Consolldeted Hillsboro Ditch <br />Company. Proof of ownership of this water can be found in Exhibit 'P'. <br />Water from dewatering operetions in the initial extraction area of Area 1 <br />will be pumped to en existing pond just west of Area 1. Aa Weae existing <br />ponds sear capacity, a temporary dike will be oonatructed aaosa a portioa of <br />Area 1 that bas already been mined. This area will then be used for storage <br />of water from the dewatering operations for the remainder of mining <br />operations in Area 1. During extraction in Area 2, water will be pumped into <br />Area 1. Theretoro there will not be any discharge to natural water courses. <br />There ere no known wells being used for domestic purposes in the <br />immediate arse, so no drew down or pollution problems are anticipated. <br />Revised 10/10/86 <br />
