Surface water remains perched on heavy clay soil,
slow penetration. Fine gravel layer at 18 " is saturated, water level in pit quickly rises to 8" once last
clay layer is penetrated. White mineral deposits on soil surface and plant material, presumably left
by evaporation of surface water.
SOILS
Map Unit Name Drainage Class
Series & Phase Confirm Map Type
Taxonomic Subgroup
Sections 16, 17, and 9 of Township 2 South, Range 67 West.
39° 53'15" Latirude and 104° 53'50" Longitude, UTM ('0870in'E.
