III IIIIIIIIIIIII III <br />~ s~ <br />EXHIBIT B <br />Mining Plan <br />Topsoil for reclamation use was removed and stockpiled in a south- <br />east portion of the pit during the previous mining operation. It will <br />remain in place during this mining operation and be used for the reclama- <br />lion phase. Any additional topsoil located on undisturbed areas cohere <br />mining is to occur will also be stripped and stockpiled for reclamation <br />use. <br />Mining of the sandy material will occur along the existing west- <br />facing pit face. It is estimated that approximately 12,000 tons of <br />material will be mined for highway construction use. The average depth <br />• of excavation caill be less than 12 feet. <br />The contractor will be given latitude as to the sequence and methods <br />of mining. The following equipment may possibly be used in the mining <br />operation: front end loaders, dozers, blades, haul trucks; screening <br />and hot plant equipment may also be used in the affected area. <br />1fi e contractor caill restrict his operation to the area as designated <br />and staked by the Engineer within the Mined Land Reclamation permitted <br />area. <br />Life of the mine caill be for the duration of the intended project. <br />No buildings, creeks, or utilities are Located within the affected area. <br />The haul road terminates on a county road; Nyle 47. and Fern McVey own <br />all other land immediately adjacent to the affected area. <br /> <br />
