STRzAM DATA: <br /> <br /> <br />The stream quality of the North Fotk of <br />the Gunnison River at Colorado <br />Department of Health Stream Station <br />000152 (North Fork of the Gunnison River <br />at bridge approximately 1.3 miles east <br />of Sowie and 3.1 miles west of Somerset, <br />Delta County; Section 14, Township 13 <br />South, Range 91 West) is the closest <br />upstream sampling station which reflects <br />the background water quality of the <br />stream is the vicinity of the facility's <br />discharges. Table 3 summarizes the <br />background eater quality data from Chis <br />sampling station. <br />At this time, the quality and quantity <br />of effluent from the mine are unknown. <br />Ia addition, final stream standards have <br />not been promulgated for this segment. <br />Finally, several mines discharge [o this <br />segment and a waste load allocation may <br />be needed eo specify metals limitations <br />far each mine. Therefore, metals <br />limitations have not been evaluated for <br />this permit at this time and ambient <br />metals eonceatrations are not needed. <br />• <br />
