1. Design Capacity
The design capacity of this domestic wastewater treatment works is 0.01
million gallons per day (MGD) for hydraulic flow and 26.8 lb. 8005 per
day for organic loading. ,
2. Expansion Requirements
Pursuant to Colorado Law, O.R.S. 1973 25-8-501 (5 d 5 e) and State discharge
permiC regulation 6.9.3 (12), the permittee is required to initiate
engineering and financial planning for expansion of the domestic
wastewater treatment works whenever throughput and treatment reaches
eighty (80) percent of design capacity. Whenever ninety-five (95) percent
of either the hydraulic or organic capacity of the treatment works is
met, the permittee shall commence construction of the necessary treatment
expansion.
The requirements authorized by the above shall be presumed unnecessary to
assure compliance upon showing that the area served by the domestic
wastewater treatment works has a stable or declining wastewater input.
However, this provision shall not be construed as preventing periodic
review by the Division.
3. Effluent Limitations
During the period beginning no later than immediately and lasting through
June 30, 1987, the permittee is authorized to discharge from outfall(s)
serial number(s): 007, as shown in Figure 3, page 28 of the permit.
In accordance with the Warer Quality Control Commission Regulations for
Effluent Limitations, Section 10.1.3, and State Discharge Permit System
Regulations, Section 6.9.2, the permitted discharge shall not contain
effluent parameter concentrations which exceed the following limitations
nor shall it discharge more than the daily mass pollutant loadings
specified on the following page.
