areas from the drainage.
The operator does not expect to disturb the prevailing
hydrological balance of the affected land nor the surrounding
- area or the quality or quantity of water in surface and
groundwater systems during or after the mining operations.
~ Fugitive dust is expected from only one source--truck traffic
along the haul roads. Experience indicates the mining operations
in the pits themselves generate little, if any, dust. Water will
be sprayed onto the roads to control dust.
Mining Timetable. The uncertainty of current economic
conditions in the construction industry precludes accurate
forcasts of mining activity over the life of the mine. Therefore,
the operator has elected to estimate a mining timetable based on
an average year and expects a specific year to vary widely from
the average.
MINING TIMETABLE
Stage Years Total Acres +/- Mined Acres +1-
1 2 22.80 14.32
2 40-50 47.30 44.53
3 6- 8 10.18 8.40
4 20-25 15.52 11.95
5 10-15 21.99 20.89
6 5-10 8.13 7.44
7 35-40 5.59 0
TOTALS 131.51 107.53
~ _

V
,
,
J 1
13
