Because of the need to mine <br />clays simultaneously from the north and south ends of the <br />affected land, several mining stages will be affected at the <br />- same time. <br />Generally, Stage 2 will be mined continuously over the life <br />of the mine, while Stages 1, 3, 4 and 5 will be mined <br />consecutively. <br />During the early period of mining, Stages 1, 2, 4 and 5 will <br />be disturbed. As mining progresses to the north in Stage 1, the <br />topsoils will be stockpiled along the eastern edge. The clay <br />normally will be stockpiled adjacent to the mining operation. In <br />the event there is not enough stockpile area adjacent to the <br />mined area or in the brick plants, clay will be stockpiled <br />10 <br />
