Orifices are used in a <br />chamber or simulator module. The ratios of the azeas of the orifices are 1:2:1:8:16. <br />Each module is 24" square and has 676 needles spaced at 1" apart. The simulator consists of-I00 <br />modules spaced and supported to make a continuous simulator 400 S/F in area. <br />Rainfall can be varied from 2" - 26" per hour. <br />Above test information was gathered after an equivalent of a 1" per hour rainfa!] on a 3.6:1 slope. <br />Maximum Permissible Shear Stress* <br />Curled Wood Mar. 1S6 Lbs./Ft.'
