APPLICATION FOR <br />MODIFICATION OF AN EXISTING <br />LOGICAL MINING UNIT <br />Western Fuels-Utah, Inc. herein applies to the U.S. Department of Interior, Bureau of Land <br />Management, to modify an existing Logical Mining Unit (LMU) consisting of 6 federal coal <br />leases to include lease COC 51551 at the Deserado Mine, Rio Blanco County, Colorado. The <br />application is organized to correspond to Title 43 CFR 3487.1 (c) -Contents of an LMU <br />application. <br /> The application to modify the Logical Mining Unit is being submitted simultaneously with a <br />modification to the approved Resource Recovery and Protection Plan (R2P2) covering the <br /> existing LMU. Reference to the R2P2 within the LMU application should be understood as <br /> reference to the modified R2P2. <br />1 (1) Name and address of the designated operator/lessee of the LMU. <br /> <br /> The operator and the lessee are the same.
