Because the pit floor will probably be a hard shale layer and there is not a sufficient amount of soil <br />material to replace a thick layer (24 inch minimum), please commit to ripping the shale floor to a 24 <br />inch depth unless a 24inch deep layer of soil or gravel is left covering the shale. <br />7. Please commit to the use of mulch that is certified weed free hay and that it will be crimped into the <br />surface. <br />8. DMG will calculate the reclamation cost estimate upon receipt of a response to this adequacy <br />review. This estimated amount will be used to determine the amount of financial warranty that is <br />required to be submitted for this site. <br />Exhibit E -Maas <br />9. Please label the permit boundary on all maps. <br />10. Please correct the reclamation plan map so the contours of the area within the gravel contact line, <br />but outside the proposed permit boundary are not shown to change. <br />Exhibit F -Other Permits <br />11. Please revise Exhibit F to indicate the application to the Colorado Division of Water Resources for <br />the waste irrigation water and storage water rights. <br />Exhibit J -Proof of Mailing of Notices to Countv Commissioners and Soil Conservation District <br />12. Please provide proof that the newspaper notice was published within 10 days after DMG <br />acknowledged receipt of the application, and proof that all owners of record of surface lands that <br />are within 200 feet of the proposed permit area have received a copy of that notice. <br />Exhibit L -Permanent Man-made Structures <br />13. Please ensure that the requirements of Rule 6.3.12 (Exhibit L -Permanent Man-made Structures) is <br />satisfied'for all structures on or within 200 feet of the proposed permit area.
