Both the Tucker a• Dao-rson leases are in the Pla~ Grassland vegetative
province (U.S.D.A., Soil Conservation Service, 1972). Foothills type
vegetation, however, follows the elevated land from the Black Forest eastward.
The result is an intermixing of plains and foothills vegetations at both

locations. .
