EXHIBIT C--MINING PLA~ <br />• <br />Item 1-As soon as we get word from Mined Land Reclamation, <br />Hopefully April 1, 1986 and continue through year 2000 plus, <br />Item 2-The reclamation is not an item here, because the land owner <br />has stated all he wants is the area back to its natural state, <br />a reasonable smooth sand area, <br />Item 3-No over burden or rock at this location-Mining a SandBar, <br />Item 4-Four (4) to Five (5) feet of sand can be removed from the <br />Bar Annually. <br />Item 5-Major Components of Mining are: A 2 cubic yd, front end <br />Loader, Kolman Screening Plant, Water Pump, Generator and <br />Sand Screw, <br />Item 6-Only significant disturbance to the surface is a Settling <br />Pond, Dimensions are 25' x 30~ with an 18"x4'x4' weir, <br />Item 7-There is an existing farm road about 12' v.1 de and goes <br />from CR 250 dorm through the barn yard and stock pile area <br />and to the owners' coal bin, Owner wants road to stay <br />intact, Road from CR 250 is acres, <br />Item 8-Water usage is approximately 200 Gals, G.P,H, and pumped <br />from the Animas River, Returns to Animas River after <br />going through two settling ponds, <br />Item 9- Surface eater till be pumped from the Animas River, put <br />through a screen, caught by a trough, run through a pipe <br />in to the Sand Settling Pond. The sand stays and dirty <br />water goes down a ditch to a sediment pond inhere the dirt <br />settles out before the water goes back to the Animas, <br />Item 10- <br />Item 11- The sand will be screened and washed on site by a <br />Portable Coleman Screening Plant with a 41"x7' Screen <br />and approximately 200 G,P,H, <br />NOTE: A Sediment Fond 14111 be used to settle out~a <br />sandy loam material before water returns to <br />the Animas River. <br />
