Water Quality: In accordance with amendments to Section 25-8-202-(7) C.R.S. and <br />Senate Bill 89-181 Rules and Regulations adopted on February 4, 1992, the State <br />Engineer shall determine whether or not the substitute supply is of a water quality to meet <br />requirements of use to other senior appropriators. The applicant shall acquire and comply <br />with all applicable national Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits <br />from the Water Quality Control Division at the Colorado Department of Health. Water <br />quality data or analysis can be requested at any time by the State Engineer to determine if <br />the water quality is appropriate for downstream water users. <br />11. Verification ofDry-Up Acreage: Aerial photographs will betaken annually to verify <br />compliance with the acreage that must be dried-up. <br />12. Accounting Sheet: An accounting form will be maintained to verify compliance with the <br />augmentation of replacement waters. A copy of the accounting sheet is contained iri <br />Appendix D. This accounting sheet shall be provided to the Water Commissioner and <br />Division Engineer on a frequency agreeable to the Division Engineer. <br />17 <br />
