RECE[VED <br />nFC 2 e Zoos <br />Division of Reclamation, E~~iT ~G» <br />Mining and Safety <br />Water Information <br />(1) This operation is not expected to duectly affect surface or groundwater systems. Historically no <br />ground water has been discovered on this parcel of land. <br />(2) Since this operation is not expected to directly affect surface or groundwater systems, items (a) <br />(b) and (c) are not necessary. However some of the information is supplied as a matter of course. <br />(a) On the map there are no water courses except for natural drainway {gullys) which run through <br />the permit boundary. Neither aze there any wells, springs, or reservoirs on the affected lands or <br />adjacent lands. <br />(b) There are no known aquifers to be identified. This azea is a terrace gravei deposit and no aquifers <br />aze known. <br />(c) There will be no dewatering operation or runoff from disturbed azeas. A low earthen berm will <br />be placed azound azeas ofexcauation to prevent runofffrom the pit azea. A Stormwater Discharge <br />Permit and associated Stormwater Management Plan (S WMP) will be developed for this operation. <br />(3) There will be no water requirements for the development, mining and reclamation phases of this <br />project for this operation. Therefore no flow rates or annual volumes are presented. <br />(4) As stated above no water will be required or involved so there aze no sources of supply. <br />(5) A Stomrwater Discharge permit witl be applied for from the Water Quality Control Division of <br />the Colorado Department of Health and associated Stormwater Management Plan developed. <br />However, the applicant will not be acquiring or applying for a National Pollutant Dischazge <br />Elimination System Permit since there will be no discharge. <br />
