The hillsides <br />were covered with topsoil (6 to 8 inches) frcxn material approved <br />for use and stockpiling by Ron Gregg of OShi. The seed mixture <br />as previously referenced was applied by the broadcast method <br />because of the steep side slopes and covered with a straw mulch <br />interizvined with mesh to assure the mulch rarained intact. <br />• IV material from the west D1ine: <br />The side slope discussed uas disturbed to some degree by activities <br />associated with restabilization of the hillside above the mine <br />bench. The disturbed area uas reclaimed wZth topsoil, reseeded <br />and mulched (as described above). Approximately 20~ of the <br />previously mulched area uas disturbed. The topsoil was replaced <br />with material rerrnved from the unstable hillside. Sufficient arrounts <br />of material was also stockpiled to conform with final reclamation <br />requirements. t:faterial stockpiled was approved as topsoil by QS.1 <br />inspector, Ron Gregg. <br />The material ramved from the west Afine will be handled as referred <br />• to on page 32 of "Application, ?•fav 1980", bottom of the oa~e <br />
