DEFICIENCY NOTICE CM1ILRB 112 Permit Application
Agile Stone Systems, Inc.
track cross section in the engineered design shows the track and roadbed
dimensions. The Mining Plau Map io Exhibit C shows and Exhibit D
discusses the linear length of each track area.
20. Your plan states that "process water will be pumped from a well to be located in
the process plant area." Do you have a permit from the Division of Water
Resources for this well? You will need to demonstrate to the Division that you
have a legal right to adequate water resources for your proposal mining operation.
Process water will not be obtained from a pumping well located in the
process plant area. Water will be pumped from the river as shown on the
Mining Plan Map and discussed in Exhibit G. The Division of Water
Resources has notified the applicant that no permit is needed for this water
source. The Division has also worked with the applicant to complete their
substitute water supply plan for which the applicant has purchased in
complete title, 5 Twin Lakes Shares. These shares provide more than the
necessary water needed during the first 4 years. All details and calculations
are shown in exhibit G as is a copy of the applicant's ownership rights to the
5 shares.
21. Please show on the Mining Plan Map, the location of the temporary diversions
and level spreaders mentioned in your section I (e), and provide plans and
specifications for these features. In this section you also mention the use of
sediment basins and check dams as temporary stormwater stabilization practices.
If these features aze different from those mentioned in your sections 1.2 Granite
Quarry and 1.3 Sandstone Quarry, please show them on the Mining Plan Map and
provide plans and specifications for them. You can provide the plans and
specifications by providing a typical plan and set of specifications for these types
of structures, if they will all be similaz in size and construction.
There are no planned temporary diversions and level spreaders. The
sediment ponds, stormwater berms and outflows are the only 3 structures
planned for each quarry area. Their engineered designs are enclosed and the
structures shown on the Mining Plan Map in Exhibit D and the Final
Reclamation Map and associated watershed and drainage control designs in
Exhibit G.
22. Your list of permanent stabilization practices includes "possibly construction of
permanent check dams." You must decide whether these dams will be a
permanent part of site reclamation to pasture land. Regazdless you must locate
them on your Mining Plan Map and provide at least typical plans and
specifications for them. If they aze to remain after mining, show them on your
0
