RECEt~/EC <br />EXHIBIT B <br />2. The operator shall provide the following information: <br />FEB 2 8 2006 <br />Division of Minerals and Geology <br />(a)A description of the vegetation and soil characteristics in the area of the proposed <br />operation acquired from the Baca County NRSC. <br />Soil types are the Baca Clay Loam, 1 to Spercent slopes,the Bankard Series 0 to <br />percent slopes,the Travessa Series 1 to 25 percent slopes and the Ulysses Series <br />surface azea which is mostly covered by native range, buffalo grass and blue <br />gramma grass. The area vegetation and types were provided by Joel Moffat, District <br />Conservationist, stationed at the Springfield Office at 27200 US Highway 287 in the <br />city of Springfield, Colorado 81073. <br />(b) Identify each man-made structures within two hundred (200) feet of the affected <br />area and the owner of each structure. <br />There is no man. made structure within two hundred feet of the affected azeas. <br />All surrounding land is owned by the applicants. <br />(c)A description of the water resources in the area of the proposed operation. <br />There aze no creeks, rivers or other water sources in the area of the proposed <br />operation. <br />(d) A wildlife statement is not required. However, it is unlikely that any wildlife <br />species will be impacted negatively. <br />
