Processing of the dredge piles by crushing and screening aze discussed in the permit <br />application, and would be approved processing methods upon issuance of the permit. Be advised that <br />the operator would have to appropriately modify the permit prior to implementing any other type of on- <br />site processing, e.g. gravel washing, asphalt or concrete manufacture, so that potential effects on the <br />reclamation plan, bond, and environmental protection measures could be assessed. <br />6. The proposed permit boundary has an irregulaz shape. Please describe how the operator intends <br />to mark these boundaries in compliance with Rule 3.1.12 of the Construction Material Rules and <br />Regulations. <br />7. Please provide proof of newspaper publication and adjacent landowner notification as soon as <br />these items become available. <br />Please provide responses to the above listed issues as soon as possible in order to maintain the July 13, <br />1998 decision date for this application. Be advised that it is possible other pertinent issues may be <br />raised by other agencies or the public during the comment period. A copy of this letter and your <br />responses must be filed with the Summit County Clerk and Recorder on or before the date that your <br />responses aze provided to the Division, and an affidavit or receipt demonstrating such filing must be <br />submitted to the Division. <br />If you have any questions, please contact me.
