M 2006-016 ~4y~
Hello Mr. Erickson:
Enclosed are two signed and dated verifications of neighboring landowner notification, per Rule
1.6.2(1)(exii) that were inadvertently missing from our original application supplemental submittals. When
the -omission was discovered the notices were promptly sent out, but the bureaucratic processes and
procrastination of those agencies delayed their return of the requested "proofs of notice" herewith enclosed.
Contact with both these land-holding agencies reveals that they have no issues with the application. Use of
County Road "R"/Forest Road 514 was questioned by Bureau of Land Management, but it was subsequently
determined that the portion of the road to be utilized for initial haulage to the Lone Mesa State Pazk Road
construction site is not on Federal lands and therefore not subject to road usage fees. In Dolores County, as
with many other counties, land ownership of the county access route right-of--way remains with the riparian
landowner (in order to educe property taxes), which in this case is the Perkins Trusts. Usage fees for
subsequent haulage, if across Federal rights-of-way, shall be mitigated with US Forest Service who contracts
with Dolores County Roads Department for road maintenance.
Please accept these originals as Pages 43 and 44 of ow Perkins Sandstone application, per Rule 1.6.2(g).
Sincerely, ^
~~ .~~C
Douglas L.
