Stevens <br />Senior Environmental Protection Specialist <br />Division of Minerals and Geology <br />1313 Sherman Street, Rm. 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />Re: Raymond F. & Robert W Dellacroce, Dellacroce Pit, File No. M-93-050 <br />Dear Mr. Stevens: <br />This office has reviewed your correspondence of October 1, 1993 concerning <br />the above proposed project. <br />A search of the Colorado Cultural Resource Inventory has indicated that <br />there are no known sites located within the boundaries of this project. <br />While we note that there is an existing mine which as disturbed a portion <br />of this site, the location makes it highly probable that prehistoric sites <br />may be present in the undisturbed areas. We, therefore, recommend that a <br />cultural resource survey be undertaken in the undisturbed portions of the <br />mine, to determine if eligible cultural resources will be impacted by <br />future mining activities.
