• 2.03 APPLICATION FOR PERMIT FOR SURFACE COAL MINING AND RECLAMATION OPERATIONS: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR LEGAL, FINANCIAL COMPLIANCE AND RELATED INFORMATION 2.03.1 Objective The objective of this Section is to ensure that the CDMG receives all relevant information regarding ownership and control of the property affected by surface coal mining and reclamation operations, and the compliance status and history of CCM#1. 2.03.2 Responsibilities In accordance with the requirements of this part, Kaiser Ventures Inc. formally known as Kaiser Resources, Inc. hereby makes formal written application to the CDMG to conduct surface coal mining and reclamation operations within the areas discussed herein. The scope of this permit will include only the reclamation aspects of the project. 2.03.3 Format and Supplemental Information • Consistent with the scope and intent of the regulations, Kaiser has presented current up-to-date information as concisely as possible. The information presented herein is supported by appropriate documented technical references which also aze made available to the CDMG with this submission. Considerable effort was expended in the compilation of technical data necessary for the preparation and submission of this permit. Technical personnel and professional organizations devoted significant time at a considerable expense to collect and analyze the technical data. The following are individuals, by organization, who collected, analyzed or otherwise assisted in the development and preparation of the technical data presented throughout this document.
