The designs are
for both planned and existing channels.
The locations of the channels are shown on Exhibit 7-19. The profiles for each channel are shown
on Exhibit 7-20. Appendix 2. contains the h}'drologic calculations and Appendix B contains the
hcdraulic calculations for all ditches.
The following channels were designed:
• SII PiVI-1 • S[1 PM-10 SII P\I-19
• SII PI`I ? • SII PI`I-] 1 • SII Pi\I-20
• SII Pb43 • SII Pi\I-12 • SII PI`1-21
• SII Pi\I-~I • S1I Phi-13 • SII PSI-2''
• • SII Pht-5 • SII Phi-I } • SII Ptv[-23
• SII P\(-6 SII Piv(-IS
• SII PnI-7 SII PT\I-16
• SII P(\I-8 • SII PT`[-17
• SII PDI-9 SII Pbt-18
All of the channels will be petmanent and were designed to conccol the peak discharge from the l0-
cear, 2~1-hour storm event. Because parts of channel SIIPI\44 is adjacent to a Fill area, it was designed
to control the peak discharge tiom the 100-}'ear, 34-hour storm ecznt. --11so, because the rotal
watershed for the lower put of channel SIIPD{-( is greater than one square mile, it was designed to
control the peak dtscharge From the ]00-tear, 34-hour srotm event.
In addition to the permanent channels, the following existing cukerts were evaluated as permanent
structures:
• ?A, 3A, 1~A, and 18.-1
• The location of [he adverts are shown on Exhibit 7-19. Appendix L contain; the hedraulic
calculations for all culverts.
7-R-I Revised 9/98
