The following information pertaining to wildlife is provided for use by <br />the Land Reclamation Board in their consideration of a mining permit <br />• for_ Western District- Coal - United States Steel Corporation <br />The Colorado Division of Wildlife does hereby find, to the best of our <br />knowledge, that the impact of the proposed mining operation on wildlife <br />will be: <br />X minor <br />moderate <br />major <br />Mine Location: T. 13 S., R. 91 W., 6 P. M. W 1/2, SE 1/4 W 1/2, E 1/2, <br />SE 1/4. Hubbard Creek Area. <br />Wildlife Species List: (may b? attached) Deer, elk, bear, coyote, bobcat, <br />raptors (including golden eagles, red-tailed, rough-legged) songbirds, non- <br />game mammals occupy the area around the blower. <br />Endangered Species Impacted: None <br />Assessment of Impact on Wildlife: (may be attached) The impact has occurred <br />by loss of winter range.
