<br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Kiowa County, PO Box 100, Eads, Colorado 81036, (719) 438-5810 has filed an application for <br />a Reclamation Permit with the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board under provisions of the <br />Colorado Land Reclamation Act for the Extraction of Construction Materials. The proposed <br />mine is known as the Schmidt Gravel Pit and is located at or near section S W '/, of S W '/. of NE <br />1 /4 Section 26, Township 17, Range 42 W, 6's Prime Meridian. <br />The proposed date of commencement is when the apphcation for permit is approved and the <br />proposed date of completion is when all gravel is depleted. The proposed future use of the land <br />is rangeland. <br />Additional information and tentative decision date may be obtained from the Division of Mineral <br />and Geology, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Deaver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567, or at <br />the Kiowa County Clerk and Recorder's office, 1305 Goff Street, PO Box 37, Eads, Colorado <br />81036, (719) 438-5421 or the above-named applicant. A complete copy of the application is <br />available at the Kiowa County Clerk and Recorder's office and at the Division's office. <br />Comments concerning the application and exhibits must be in writing and must be received by <br />the Division of Minerals and Geology by 4:00 p.m. on April 26, 2000. <br />
