The <br />revisions include: <br />Phase I line for the surface mine was moved west to include Fills 1, 2 <br />and 3. Stability Analysis of these fills was addressed in our August 15, <br />2001 letter. <br />2. Pond locations were revised to match the 5-Year Mine Plan, by <br />Greystone, Map 2.05.3-2, dated 8130101. <br /> <br />We also clarity the text of our original report (dated April 27, 2001) on page 2. <br />We anticipate 8 ponds below the area mine and 14 ponds below the contour mine <br />area as shown on the revised Figure 1. Our analysis considered ponds with an <br />embankment height of 10 feet or less with a base slope of 10 percent or less (sand <br />foundation soils), or 20 percent or less (clay or bedrock foundation). <br />We hope this provides the infonnation you require.
