<br />last evening (Dee 18, 2003),
<br />~my husband was traveling to Tellu-
<br />ride through Walsenburg. He was
<br />taking Christmas to our son who is
<br />working~at the ski slopes this Chri-
<br />stmas and won't be able to come
<br />home for the holidays.
<br />A large Rubbermade container
<br />with all of the Christmas presents
<br />and his favorite foods fell from the
<br />back of our pickup truck and they
<br />were 20 miles down the road when
<br />they noticed. When he fumed
<br />around and went back, the ~ only
<br />thing left was the lid and a sheet for
<br />his bed.
<br />As I sit here trying to remem-
<br />ber what was in the box, I can only
<br />cry because there were two pictures
<br />from a trip my son took to Europe
<br />thatI had enlarged and profession-
<br />ally framed. I was going to surprise
<br />him and try to make this a special
<br />Christmas, even though he wasn't
<br />going to be with his family, There
<br />were the regular gifts too, sweaters,
<br />shirts and also some kitchen stuff he
<br />needed from home and sheets and
<br />bedding for }cis bed. .. -
