<br />Cxh~6,"t ~ <br />RESOLUTION OF <br />THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OP RIO GRANDE <br />GP.ANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMI'P <br />WHEREAS, Rio Grande County has received an appli <br />for a conditional use permit from South Way Company <br />concerning property owned by them described as the SW <br />and NW1/4 SE1/4 of Section 21, Township 40 North, Ran <br />East, Rio Grande County, Colorado, which property is <br />Rural and which application for conditional use permi <br />requests permission to use said property for extracti <br />industry, (gravel pit). <br />INTY <br />ation <br />1/4 <br />e 6 <br />oned <br />WIiEREAS, the Rio Grande County Planning Commissi n has, <br />at a rneetiny of said [Tanning Commission held on Febr ary <br />21, 1984, considered said application, and has thereafter <br />recommended approval Co the Board of County Commissio ers of <br />the application for a conditional use permit, and; <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has <br />thereafter considered said application at a meeting o said <br />Board held on the 5th day of March,"1984, after maili g of a <br />notice of said application to all owners of property <br />abutting the subject property within 1,500 feet of th <br />subject property and; <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Ri <br />Grande County has found that granting the application would <br />be consistent with the objective and the purposes of he Rio <br />Grande County Land Development Code, as declared in A ticle <br />II, Part A. 2. and Article V ,Part A of said Regulatio s, and <br />has found that the use for which the application is <br />submitted would be compatible with surrounding land u es in <br />*_he area of its location. <br />BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Board of Count <br />Commissioners of Rio Grande County hereby grants the <br />conditional use permit requested by South way Company, for <br />the property described above, allowing said property o be <br />used for extractive industry (gravel pit), pursuant t <br />Article II Part A. 2. q., contingent upon the South W y <br />Company obtaining any permits which may be required b the <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board, prior to begin ing <br />operation of said gravel pit. <br />The foregoing Resolution was offered by Commissi ner <br />Rom;ng~_~ seconded by Commissioner <br />Bryant and passed on vote of the Board of ounty <br />Commissioners at a meeting of said Board on the 5th d y of <br />March, 1984. <br />.`' ~.. <br />Thad C.
