EXHIBIT D -----RECLAMATION PLAN
We would like to make an amendment to our original reclamation
plan presently on file.
The amount of time to complete our reclamation plan would be
one year after the project is completed.
The procedure to complete this reclamation would be to not fill
the reservoir in as that is what we are building, so we would
not be reclaiming the reservoir. We would use a bulldozer to
level around the ope perimeter of the reservoir. We would use
a blade to cut the reservoir to a 3 to 1 slope.
At the end of the mining project when the reservoir is completed
it will have three trees which will be of the Aspen/Birch family
planted along the west side of the reservoir. Grass will be
planted along the west side as well. (See Reclamation Map for
details).
The grass seed will be Better Homes and Gardens High Traffic
grass seed mixture. This grass seed is sun tolerant, dought
tolerant, disease tolerant, cold tolerant and very durable.
The contents and their percentages of live seed for each species
are Sonata Perennial Rygrass-pure seed percentage 39$, Shining
Star Perennial Rygrass-34.00, Boreal Red Fescue-14.50, Kenblue
Kentucky Bluegrass-9.40$ pure live seed. There is no noxious
weed seed in this grass mixture.
No overburden will need to be replaced at this operation.
All areas to be revegetated will be deep tilled to break up
the soil prior to seeding.
Mulch will be certified weed free hay or straw applied at a
rate of 1.5 tons per acre and crimped into the surface.
The seed will be applied by broadcast seeding.
An application of nitrogen will be added to the areas to be
revegetated. An application of 135 pounds per acre will be
applied. This fertilizer will be Hi-Yield Ammonium Sulfate
made by Ferti-Lome Fertilizer and purchased from Camelot Gardens
Nursery in Montrose, Colorado. Total Nitrogen content is 21$.
We will be reseeding approximately one acre. It will take
approximately seven, twenty pound sacks to fertilize the one
acre.
Three trees will be planted along the west side of the reservoir.
They will be of the Aspen/Birch family. A hole hand dug
approximately four feet wide and three feet deep will be dug.
