What is the depth of the overburden in inches to be
stripped off?
As stated in the ?lining Plan "Exhibit B", this deposit
has only 1' - 3' of overburden. It appears that the
average depth to be stripped off will be 16" - 18".
b. FThat is the life of this mine?
The mining plan and timetable map, "Exhibit B", projects
a life of 8 years. This is a best estimate at this time
based on anticipated demand and assuming an average aggregate
depth of 22'.
2. Reclamation Plan -
a. lJhat will the slope of the reclaimed area be?
Reclaimed area will be backsloped at 3:1.
b. How many acres will be reclaimed each year?
Backs loping and reseeding will probably not start until 1982
as the 1980-81 segments will be used for stockpile areas. It
is projected that approximately 1.5 Acres will be reclaimed
each year thereafter.
